General Discussion / Seattle Zero Enthusiasts?
« on: December 21, 2014, 12:20:10 PM »
Good day!

I am in Tacoma and have a garage full of electric motorcycle, Kart and Ebike stuff. I have been building and racing Zeros for some time now and would like to team up with someone local who is looking to advance the level of electric motorcycle enthusiasm in this area.

A few projects on the bench now are an electric drag bike using Zero powertrain parts, a dual Size4 supermoto, Zero powertrain ex-shifter Kart, ultralight aircraft powertrain and more. I have alot of brushed goodies too.

My dilema is time/money. Parts are something I have plenty of.

A team effort can bring more of both to the table. I am looking for someone who understands, in detail, the function of all the components in Zeros and other modern EVs such as the Leaf or Prius, can fabricate somewhat and has a nack for coming up with GOOD new ideas to make things work better. Someone with a competitive edge that loves racing and winning.

This post is to reach out and see if there is someone sitting in their garage building stuff wishing there was someone else out there to share the love for EVs. Its not an offer for employment, just looking to team up and build some amazing things.

    Gimme a call, 253-565-9823
    Douglas

Hi:

Not sure if there is no sale points for a better brush assy for an Agni or there are buyers but you are nervous because I do not have pictures.

Don't be shy. Contact me and I will be happy to discuss my upgraded assy. :)

  Regards,
   Douglas

Hi:

I refreshed the link last night.

Checked it a few hours ago and just now. It works fine for me when I click on the link in the response just above your post. So sorry if you are having trouble. I do not have an answer.

Worst case if the link is not working for you, just use the CL search for Tacoma, Wa., Electric Motorcycle and you will find it. :)

This motor came from my, working, Zero motorcycle. I replaced it with an Agni.

It works as good as new.

$400 SHIPPED TO THE CONTINENTAL U.S.

If you have questions about this motor that the manufacturers website does not answer, you are welcome to call:  253-565-9823
Prices are negotiable, especially if you can build quality harnesses for Sevcon Gen4s.

They're not Ohlins and they leave alot to be desired. :)

I WILL be figuring out how to get some Swedish magic into my dampers, one way or another.

Cane Creek offers an Ohlins damper for my older MX. It is downhill stuff and works great but won't handle the weight of anything new. It should go the other way, newer should be lighter and faster, not just faster.

It would be sweet if there was a performance damper option for our bikes. Maybe there is and I don't know about it?

Buy Sell Trade / Looking for an upgraded Agni brush assy?
« on: August 12, 2013, 03:38:06 AM »
No more fried brushes!

I have two extra brush holders w/brushes that are upgrades for the Agni motors. I have been testing another pair at 400A in my dirt bike and at 600A in my street bike with no poof yet. They have not seen the dyno yet so runs longer than 5sec have not occurred. How much you can get away with is up to you but one thing is for sure, these last longer than the O.E. units.

These are hand modified by me and are definitely beta units. I am currently using and will continue to use this style of brush/holder in my Agni motors with no anxieties whatsoever. Not really a guarantee but may boost your confidence .0031%.

If $300ea does not scare you away, gimme a call.
