Great post man, mad props to that guy. Hopefully I'll be able to use this in the near future.

Specs I have found so far:
100+ mph
60 mile range
5 hour recharge from 110
27 HP motor

Holy Electric Eels Batman, that sounds SICK!

I bet the price will be pretty gut wrenching as well....

wow that sucks, it looks like (based on the article at the beginning) he was actually having a good time and meeting some nice people to charge his bike. Good luck nathan, the ninja is always tormented with the evils of mankind...aka getting hit by a car in your case my friend.

People are so freakin stupid, WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES when driving fools. why risk killing a fellow human because your too dang lazy to turn your head 120 degrees to look before you turn

 JEEZ MAN

So please join me in discussing the future of two wheeled power!

Street / Street Bikes, Own One?

If you do, have you ever just been stranded because the charge didn't last for as long as you thought??? That would suck nuts man. but it is one of my main concerns of getting an electric motor vehicular device. I want to commute to school n stuff with it so it'll be sitting there not charging for hours at a time, possibly a day if I'm partying and electric things can loose its charge a tiny bit when it's just chillin there not full right?

I don't want to be riding home and then fuckin BAM it dies. right in the middle of the road. so i look like a double tard now because I'm supposed to be saving money and knowing my vehicle, but I have to call my friend and he's laughing all like "told you so man, you look like a panzy AND it doesn't even run you back to the house" which would probably be like a mile away. Freakin Jerk.

Anything like this happen to you all? anybody? if so please let me know, I don't want to shell out my life savings to save my Planet when I'm just going to get ripped by a bloody drained battery.

Buy Sell Trade / 1981 Yamaha XJ650 Midnight Maxim Edition
« on: December 12, 2009, 07:01:23 PM »
Hmm...this might sound strange but I was wondering if I could gut out this bike and make it electrified somehow...

that'd be crazy.

If not than I'm interested in selling it for about 1.2 Grand. It's in great condition and I just bought new tires for it like 3 months ago when I stoped riding it for the winter. I would really like an electric motorcycle not only because it doesn't require trips to the pumps, but also because they're great for our Home Planet Earth....I mean, I'd rather take care of it than have my great great grandchildren suffer from internal heat stroke aka boiling blood aka lolz, jk...not really, jk. You know, if we don't all get eaten by the Great Mian Robot that's going to be rising from the sea on December of 2012...HA

ANYWAY

If anyone is interested let me know, and If anyone knows if it can be converted please let me know, I'm willing to learn how to do this stuff. It's pretty kick ass. I live in Ohio btw and I'm sure something can be aranged for shipping n what not. Peace Gangstas
