I'm a big fan of KC's work - that is an excellent article. Neither of us are fans of turning racebikes into the functional equivalent of bowling balls.
My favorite part of electric motorcycle racing is the lack of rules - the opportunity to design and build something truly advanced is unequalled by any of the other classes. And by "advanced", I don't mean building the same old thing with more exotic materials.
I'm also under the impression that the same digital controls that some people whine about in MotoGP is relatively cheap and easy to implement in electric racing.
