Quantya Forum / Experience with the LiPos?
« on: October 07, 2010, 01:59:18 AM »
I`m very interested in the condition of the Lipos after the 2 years (of guarantee)
How is the capacity? Did you have any loss of capacity?
I think noone will do 1000 chargings in 2 years so the garantee will affect the time factor
and not the loading.
I think my accu would last probably 5-6 years, but do you think capacity will be the same
in this time?

Hi, where is the connection to KTM ?
The post would be better placed in"Other Bikes", perhaps Skadamo could arrange this.

That`s what I like. The optic of the "Crosser" is what I like to see, the performance seems to be okay, but we must wait and see the original dates in Tokyo.
OT: does anybody know something about Suzuki and Electric MX Bike?

Welche Pausen? Die beim Fahren? Wenn ja wie wirken die sich aus? Oder Bremsen? Egal wie, ich werde mir entweder den Nachfolger der Blade T6 oder aber die KTM holen. Das einzige was wir dafür brauchen ist Geduld ;)

Thank god, I don`t own a Quantya. I´m very interested in E Bikes and did a test ride for 2h with a Quantya in snow and mud, but in the end  I must say 9700.- for a bike built up with these components? Never.
The brakes and suspension on my freeride bikes (MTB) work lots better, so probably I must wait until 2011 for KTM.
I wish you happy trails,
Homer

Quantya Forum / Brake performance and steerer diameter
« on: March 07, 2010, 08:10:45 PM »
What I`m interested in is the brake performance. When I rode the Quantya first time it was cold and snowy, so the Brake didn`t really work. What`s the experience of the owners and have you seen a possibility to change the brake to another model?
Next question concerns the diameter of the fork (steering tube). Is it 1" or 11/8". If iit was 11/8" the fork could be changed to a DH fork. The wheel would be no big deal to change but I could use a Magura Gustav M brake, which is also a DH product which bites.

Just this week I spoke to my KTM dealer while my Superduke was there for service. The information I got was that KTM has not enough money in 2010 to start this project. Start of distribution is planned for 2011.

Quantya Forum / My first ride
« on: January 03, 2010, 04:45:11 PM »
Yesterday was my big day, I did my first Enduro ride on a Quantya. (Thanks to Christian in Memmingen,Germany). First I must say, my expirience in Enduro Biking is 0.
So I drive a KTM Superduke and do a lot of MTB Riding in Bikeparks. Riding a motorbike in the woods was new and gave  me lot of fun. After 2 hours I was down, the Quantya had left energy for another 20min. The mapping was at 65% power, for me it was enough.
The only negativ thing I could find is the Price combined with bad components. Brakes and suspension are not worth 9000.-, so you can do a lot of tuning, in the end you pay 12000.- and that`s too much. But I think the future will bring improvement and in 2011 the market will offer different producers and different prices, my time will come ;D

Hi Jürgen, I´ve seen your tuning and like it ;D
Is there a chance to buy a Blade from you? It
could be a tuned one or a regular.
So where do you come from? I couldn`t find any information.

I think in the future we will find different disciplines, like trailbikes, Enduros, MX, MTB´s  with E power.
So it`s up to the new owner to find out what`s your favourite riding style.
