I was getting ready to sell my 2012 S-9 because I can no longer ride on two wheels.
I would like to do this trike conversion also. What parts are you getting from Zero?
Is the front end still available as a kit?

I bought  2009 Honda Goldwing new and installed a Tow-Pac Insta-Trike kit to hold it up.
Last March I had it converted it to a real trike. Last Sunday I totaled it and now will have
to give up my Zero unless I can find a kit to add two more wheels to it.

Tow-Pac Insta-Trike makes kits for 49.9 CC Honda metros all the way up to the biggest bikes.
They have not heard of the Zero. What the world needs is a good 3 wheel electric bike. Or
in the case of Insta-Trike, four wheels.

Has anyone considered this? Looking for ideas so I can keep riding my S-9.

I am still recovering from the crash, but it is obvious that I will no longer be able to drive a two wheel vehicle
due to my injuries. I emailed Danson a few days ago but no response. I have decided to sell my S-9 for $6,000.
Only 2300 miles on it.

I would love to have the range of a 11.4kw 2013 S. My 9kw 2012 S9 is
just a little short on a route I would like to take to go up to Estes Park.
Currently I take Hwy 36 up over 8,500 ft, then down the hill to Estes
@ 7,500 ft. 63 miles round trip without a charge stop. The route I would
like to take is Hwy 7 up over 9,000 ft and down to Estes. Then down Hwy
36 to home. Approx 80 miles for the loop. (All in economy mode driving
conservatively of course).

I purchased the 12V adapter from Zero. I didn't like the bracket that mounts the adapter on the right turn signal light.
I mounted it right on the black panel in front of me. I have a 12V adapter from Gerbings so I can plug in my controller
for my electric liner and gloves. The connector is visable from the right side under the false tank. 1st photo shows the connector with the rubber boot. 2nd photo shows the connector. 3rd photo shows where I mounted the adapter.

I ordered the kits from Harlan for myself and Colopaul.  I have mine installed. Instead of mounting to the fuse plate,
I purchased a new longer M5 screw from ACE to replace the top/right screw on the battery box. Now the charge port
is very accessable. I don't even have to bend over or reach around anywhere.

I bought the summer screen from Zero @ the dealer. Only $99.99 plus tax. Works great.
