I don't know how many bikes they had available, but two weeks ago I rode the very last two (demonstration) bikes in Munich (Alpinista and Mulholland), and bought the latter one because of the better knee grip. On the Alpinista your kneecaps are pressing against the cooling fins of the battery, which does NOT feel good. The Mulholland has a seat with cushions where you can rest your thighs, which feels quite OK (but nothing beats the knee grip of the 1997 Honda VTR 1000 Superhawk).

They should have switched to toroidal bevel gears long ago, maybe then they would sell a few...
The S2 has transverse motors (from German manufacturer Bosch), which are even quieter than Zero motors.
