That was a lot easier than I thought, I bound the rear wheel and brake up, and tried loosening the bolt before heating it up to release the Loctite, and it came out, possibly it already had one pulley replaced? it's only down 10000 miles but maybe it had been thrashed?
Any way, very pleased it wasn't as difficult as some others have experienced.
It looks like the pulley has taken the majority of the wear and the shaft is ok, maybe.
I'll order a new pulley, put it on and see if there's any play, and apply some Loctite 680 on the shaft and 271 on the bolt.
