The tentative World Superbike calendar was released today.  There may be some clues about where the eBike championship will run.  I really hope they don't run with World Endurance... no one watches that except for the French!

Looks like the TTXGP people and the FIM are leaning towards running the TTXGP/eGP bikes alongside the WSBK series next year, based on their announcement yesterday that there will be a demo at this year's German WSBK round.

Even if there is nothing official with eGrandPrix, all of us electric motorcycle media guys should all get together anyhow.

If Azhar or any of the competitors are down, I think this would be a great way to touch base with everyone in the scene.  Good PR for everyone involved!

I will do anything I can to help promote the event.  I'm going to apply for the media pass as well.  We'll see what happens...

frodus,
If you have a connection with Azhar, might I suggest seeing if there is interest in an informal gathering/meet and greet of all those involved in the eGrandPrix (i.e. electric moto teams, racers, reporters, forum admins, bloggers, coordinators, etc.).  Either way, I would like to meet those who contribute to the forum.

I would like to suggest Bucks on either Thursday or Friday night.  http://www.bucksbarandgrill.net/  They even have mini-golf!

Anyone have interest?

Thanks so much for the kind words on the Welcome thread!

We will be there.  My wife rides and we ride track days together so I am fortunate it isn't a stretch for us and she is down with moto trips.

Not sure if you have been there before or not... Other than the track, there isn't a lot in that area until you get toward the north side of Columbus.  Plenty to do in Dublin and Hilliard areas.

I give MotoCzysz a boat load of credit.  That bike was developed in just a few months.  In human terms, that bike hasn't even learned to crawl yet.  With a year of development and advancements... look out.

EnvironMoto already plans on being there.  Skadamo or anyone else going?

Hello, My name is Chris and this introduction is long overdue.  I am relatively new to electric motorcycles, but have been a life-long fan of motorcycles and particularly motorcycle racing.  I started a blog in October of 2008 to piece together some news and commentary on EM design and racing, www.EnvironMoto.com .  One of the first articles I created was giving props to Electric Motorcycle Forum.  I still consider it the best electric bike resources on the web... I don't think skadamo ever actually sleeps!

I have very infrequently lurked around here, but I have created an account so that I can be more present.  I hope that I add some positive and useful content on the forum, and I hope that some of you will check out my blog from time to time to keep me in line!
Chris
