I have ordered the same part from the same store, just waiting on it! I have check the error codes one is 44 and the other 45 can't remember which now.

Rgutt. The sensor is a three wire sensor and cannot be jumpered with a jumper. It sends out about 2.7 volts on the signal wire with the stand up.

The aim is to disable the use of the sensor so the bike does no longer check if the side stand is up or down. The side stand is still there. I am only trying to do this because my sensor broke and the bike no longer starts. I have found this post on a German forum detailing how to "fake" the sensor signaling when the side stand is up. No, I haven't installed the belt yet. I have it as a spare. But it is completely identical to the original one
