Buy Sell Trade / SELL OR TRADE FOR FX/FXE (MY '22 DSR) - Chatt/Knox/ATL
« on: December 21, 2023, 12:49:19 AM »
Hi all,
I got a '22 DSR with just 1500 miles. I got b/c my job isn't too far away so i would ride road a lot, but also want something offroad. However, my new job is such a distance and only partial days that i am getting a tesla for those days. Therefore, i just want a zero dirtbike for messing around at home. I'll sell my DSR or trade for FX/FXE and cash.

Perfect condition garage kept (already had DC/DC converter changed under warranty so that issue shouldnt come back like others)

Why did you decide to sell so soon?

Yeah, same. I found this info might be helpful for others that end up on this post too.
Ill see if i can check for voltage readings and fuses. May end up just having to take as the parts will be expensive to do it myself. unfortunate i don't have a nearby dealer

Here is what FB group is saying:
It looks like the DC -DC is bad and isn't giving you the correct voltage out. I would replace the dc-dc and possibly the mbb. Because sometimes the dc-dc can fry the mbb when they go bad. Voltage needs to be checked and unfortunately the dealer has to look at it. That's just how warranty works. if no dash and lights, but runs: 12V DCDC probably has an issue or fuse of it gone.
In the past the 12V system converter was not designed for continues 100+ V input sadly...

I've never washed actually but when I do, no hose just a rag and cleaning spray.  I checked behind light and nothing seems odd

Hello all. New to forum type places. I just bought a DSR and has 500 miles on it. Never road in rain, garage kept, never down. I went to turn on and the display flashes when the kickstand is down, no normal boot up or display showing. When I do pull up the kickstand the bike will at least switch to ride mode and not give intermittent power pulses. I can ride but I have no UI except the side symbols. Zero tells me I have to take to dealer and won't help diagnosis with me at all. I don't have the time to take 2.5 hours away . Anyone experience this?
