Been riding my 2023 SS9+R for about six months now. I commute to work on it about 40 miles each way from Lincoln to Sacramento, California. Great ride with no real problems until...
Friday I rode home and plugged it into the 110AC Level 1 charger and nothing happened. Literally nothing. No locking sound, no charge monitor. I did the same thing I do 99% of the time. Yes, the charger was plugged into the wall and had power lights. I cycled the SS9 power on and off, plugged in and still nothing. I tried plugging it in while on and still nothing. SOC is currently 40%.
I also have a 40amp level 2 charger installed for my cars. Sunday I tried plugging into the level 2 charger and nothing. It has worked fine in the past. Again, no click, no lock, nothing. When I turn the bike on, the charge port lock cycles to unlocked but it won't recognize a plug inserted. No current fault codes displayed either.
The only real difference is that the temp was about 101 degrees on my way home Friday. The battery indicator stayed green and there wasn't any other unusual operation. Temp has still been high, but when I tried on Sunday it was below 100 -- no battery temp warnings on the display either.
Any ideas/troubleshooting?
