The closest motorcycle I have had to compare my new DSR/X is was my 2014 Triumph Tiger 1200. Both bikes were about same weight. length and height also close. Acceleration and and handling very close as well.
The DSR/X is my first electric vehicle so I can not compare to others. The quietness and no vibration is great. It handles myself and my wife on the back as good as the tiger. I don't actually notice a range difference when she is also on bike. I am thinking maybe because I get a little more regen from the extra weight.
The suspension feels fine and it is balanced well when I push it through a curve at a spirited pace. I use high brake regen setting and no throttle off regen. Combining that with the linked brakes, I usually do all braking with just my index finger.
I also have a Harley Davidson Street Glide Special and it makes me love the tall suspension of the Zero.
The Zero is now my daily driver and the Harley has been put to pasture. I really enjoy it.
