Buy Sell Trade / 2022 ZERO DS

Looking to sell my 2022 Zero DS
6,000KM currently
Local dealer has an SRF up for a steal so thinking about scooping that up.
Have the Cycra hand guards but I have removed them for now.
Owned it since new and has been stored indoors.
Located in BC Canada.
$10,500 CAD OBO.

Hey Merlin,

I own a 2022 DS and I'm really happy with going the electric route. I mostly use my bike for commuting and it is an excellent commuter, great in the city and still some guts to keep up on the highway. As far as for dirt riding I can't lend much of an opinion but depending on how close the trails are to you I would consider the DSR as it will have more legs to get you to and from the trials while still giving you enough juice to get some mud on the tires.

Last year I purchased a 2022 DS and I live in BC, I think so far the only months I wasn't able to ride were December and November. I have on more then one occasion been caught in some heavy rain and so far my bike has performed perfectly. I do my best to not ride in wet conditions as I have heard some horror stories but living in the Pacific Northwest rain is never too far away.

So storing the DS over the winter shouldn't negatively affect the battery much.

I think I'll store it at 50% and periodically check to see how the battery fairs over the course of the winter. I will update this thread if anything of note happens over the course of the winter.

Is the process to remove the 12V battery complicated? That does seem like not a half bad idea instead of having to maintain the HV battery periodically throughout the winter.

Good morning all,

                     I have a 2022 Zero DS that I will be storing for 3-4 months. I live in Western Canada and riding 12 months out of the year is unrealistic. I will be storing it in an underground parkade but it is not heated and in the winter months it will get as low as -5 Celsius in there. I will have the battery at around 50% for storage and I will try and ride the odd day to cycle the battery a little but for the weeks that I can't ride due to weather is there any measures I take to keep the bike at a reasonable temp? Heated blanket, heated cover or will it be sufficient to just ride it every few weeks?
