That's really cool.

That means between us is King of Prussia, which has some CCS.

I was able to pick up my bike on Tuesday October 25th. What a nice ride.

I'm located in eastern PA. I ordered the bike this year. I think I got lucky and snagged someone else's order because they contacted me and asked me if it was alright if they gave me a bike that was a little different then the bike I ordered. I told them that a free wireless start was fine with me. So I imagine someone canceled their order, for whatever reason, and since it was nearly identical to mine they just said "here you go."

So I imagine a $35 adapter will convert the 14-30r to a 5-15 and since the charger is in the bike it will charge at level 1 speed.

Thanks everyone for your comments and helping me choose a "charger".

Energica / My esse esse 9 is on the way over from California

I put down the deposit on July 9th. Today I was emailed letting me know that the bike will be shipped from CA this week. I was asked to select a charger  level one or one of the level 2 chargers (see attachment). I would like to get a level 2 charger (14-30R) but I think that the extra versatility of the level 1 charger would be much more useful, even though it is slower. Does anyone know if I get a level 2 charger and an adapter to go from 14-30r to 5-15 (standard wall plug) will the level 2 charger function as if it were a level 1 charger when I plug it into a 5-15 outlet?

LOL
It's up to $83k now. It sure has a unique style but for that amount of money one could buy an energica and customize the whazoo out of it and get some better specs.
