Sorry for following up so late. I only drive into work a couple days a week. So this was my first time to experiment. I traveled to work one day with and one day without. I would estimate that the bags reduce range by 10-20% at highway speeds. At an indicated 90mph (real world about 81mph) I saw 20% less consumption. It makes sense you’d see greater savings at higher speed since wind resistance is non-linear. At low speeds there wasn’t a discernible difference.
At face value it looks like the v35 may be more aerodynamic. I’m also a larger guy, so maybe I block more of the wind for them too :-) so overall the bags have a smaller impact

How much do those V35’s detract from your efficiency? Also, how did you fabricate the mounts for them?
