Have you had a chance to use it at any of the fast chargers in the area? Any issues?

Congrats on getting such an amazing bike, especially after that long of waiting!   I live in Renton WA and am trying to decide between the Esse Esse 9+ or the Eva Ribelle.  Energica's rep says there might be a demo bike at their new dealership location in Tacoma soon'ish.  Not sure what model.  How are you liking yours so far??    Who did you go through to get yours?

Energica / Re: Max Torque Reduction based on SOC?

Thank you.   It looks like they make raised and offset handlebar spacers for the Ribelle.  I haven't confirmed yet, but I think people have swapped the ss9 pegs onto the Ribelle too.

Thank you Skidz for the response and all that information.  That does help me making my decision easier, I appreciate that.

It appears the issue with the fuse may be a one off issue where they missed upgrading the fuse to 100 amp after the larger battery was installed.  I doubt that is a concern with new bikes now.

I didn't know about the pin, that is great to know.  Also it was just mentioned to me that I may be able to put the key next to a specific antenna location on the side of the bike to unlock it.  At least there is 2 good alternatives.

Now I just need to wait to ride the two models.  I'm curious if I can notice the power difference and see what one fits me better physically!     Not excited about the 5+ month wait after ordering.

Thanks.

Hello PWM.

Thank you for the response and information.  Sorry for coming in hot on the first post.

I am hyper-researching while waiting for my local dealer to get some demo bikes in stock so I can compare the SS9+ vs the Eva Ribelle.  Already rode the LiveWire. Trying to find all the issues and differences.  Sounds like the keyless entry, DC charging fuses, chain maintenance, and this SOC dependent torque reduction are the possible pain points I have found so far.

The HP and spec difference between the SS9+ and the Eva Ribelle is concerning from a value standpoint, but I think SS9 might end up being more relaxed and comfortable setup during the nice weather commuter days.

Thank you.

Energica / Max Torque Reduction based on SOC?
« on: May 04, 2022, 12:44:38 AM »
Hello,

I haven't been able to find any documentation or tests done on this specifically. Is the max torque/output reduced when the SOC is below 90/60/40 percent on Energica's?

Thank you.
