Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Fairing disassembly DSR/X ?
« on: January 10, 2024, 07:23:48 PM »
Hello,

I've ordered a 2024 DS and as it's only available in a color I don't like much I've started to check for covering options.
One of the closest location asked me that it could be OK if I provide them with the fairing parts by themselves.

As 2024 DS and DSR are the same bikes as 2023 DSR/X could it be possible to find a disassembly guide for the fairing (or whole bike) ?

Thanks in advance :)

I have hand-guards on my DSR so can’t use a slip on solution like a rubber band.
A piece of double sided velcro should do the job nicely.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Storage Box Key Lock Alternative?
« on: February 01, 2022, 02:21:28 AM »
Hello,

Maybe a stupid suggestion ...
But as S/DS/FX do not have a 12V battery and as once the key is off there's no power at all, could it be possible to install a electric/magnetic lock ?
Just place the control button on the handlebar or on the storage box itself. It will only open if the bike is "started" and will become totally ineffective if the key is not present or on off position.

Correct ?

Hello all,

@albenex: I took delivery of my S 2021 two weeks ago in EU (bought in Luxembourg and imported to France).
I've got a very good deal + some "extra luck" on the bike. So far the only cosmetic difference between 2021 & 2022 is the dashboard and maybe the color of the rear shock spring (yellow vs red). I've ordered a 2022 dashboard at Zeromoc and installed it on my bike, it works perfectly. I've also replaced all bulb lights with LED ones and the bike is more fitted for 202x now :)

Cheers !
