I had a totally different solution on my 2017 SS/S
I just took out the expensive Showa and put in a much cheaper generic brand shock form a parts supplier. Just make sure that the new one fits through the hole in the frame. New Shock kosted around € 119,00 (I'm from the Netherlands)
I have driven around 30K miles with it and I really didn't notice any difference in riding.

Just replaced mine, SR-ZF 2017 front-, back-sprocket and belt.

They had all the right parts, fitted it last week. Bike is now much more quiet.
Biggest problem was getting all bolts out that keep the engine tot the frame. They should be mounted with 19NM but I broke two torx bits trying to get it out. See the picture. I finally managed to drill the broken part out and then I drilled the head from the bolt.
After that the engine came out pretty well.
The bolt keeping the sprocket in was also not easy, it needed an a lot of heat, far more than I felt comfortable with.
Old sprockets had 67000Km on them, the belt was 27000Km old. Just drove the bike until the belt broke.
This wear occurred because the dealer didn't align the sprockets and belt properly and as a new Zero owner I didn't know better, but I do now.

That's what I was afraid of, I probably better leave it the way it is and start saving up for another bike to replace this one. Too bad the second hand value of those Zero motorbikes is so low.

I would like to exchange my front suspension for something with two discs instead of my current one disc set to improve breaking power, but new from Zero is far to expensive.
In my imagination it would be possible to take the front fork and front wheel of another bike with compatible dimensions.
Anyone an idea what would fit? There should be more bikes with upside down front forks that could be made to fit.

2017 SR/ZF, bought it end of 2021 with 32300Km and am now at almost 64000Km.
13Kw + 3,5Kw powertank.
Had already to change the head bearing, rear spring, and at 8600Km the belt. Now the belt is almost done but also the sprockets have to be replaced, the tooth look more like triangles than half circles and are beginning to get sharp. I think I will keep riding it this way until the belt gives out and then I'll swap the sprockets and the belt.
I use between 40 and 50% of a charge per day of daily commute. I try to stop the charging at around 80% but am not able to do that every day. In the summer when it's hot I sometimes drive it to around 10 to 15% after two day's of commuting to let the bike now how much charge the battery really can hold. And at least once a week I let it charge fully for the whole night.
I am thinking of getting rid of the ABS as it sometimes prevents the front brake from engaging in the first few minutes of driving.
In teh summer I get around 150 to 180Km of mostly highway traffic on a full charge.
I intend to keep this bike until it dies on me so I hope the electrics keep working for a long time.
