I agree with @Say10 15FX 16FXS and would only add one small part. With the handlebars turning side to side may introduce strain to the wiring as it exits the handlebars I would add some small rubber/silicone grommets to help protect the wires from friction, fatigue, and failure.

Good luck with your project @emags!

Thanks! I only hope I didn't void the warranty by ordering non-catalogue parts  ::)

IMO those Cycra ones look...utilitarian?  :o
I went with Acerbis Dual Roads + install hardware and installation took 3 minutes a side and only required a hammer and an allen key.
Theres apparently an LED signal kit for them as well.

$86.63 on Amazon delivered from the UK to the USA.

I used the smallest included spacer on the throttle side and no spacer on the left side, and the smallest threaded ferrules included worked perfectly.

The stock FXE front fender looks great but after riding in the rain and slush road grit is thrown straight up into the lower triple steering head bearing, not ideal. Maybe the folks 3D printing the swingarm plug covers could do a lil splash guard since theres only $$$ carbon fiber front fenders aftermarket ive found so far.

I rode up a steep iced over driveway yesterday and there was no drama, excess wheelspin or any weird feelings due to not having TC it was just gentle consistent throttle on stock tires.

Safe is as safe does and slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Overall perfectly fine to ride  in the rain.  :)

New 2022 FXE owner here.
Purchased from a RideNow powersports on a trade in last weekend.
After signing the paperwork, and taking the keys in the parking lot of the dealership there were three error codes with 95% charge.
The dealer let me know that the bike was safe to ride and that they could pick it up from me within two weeks to get it serviced.

Otherwise the bike is great! Last bike was a Tracer 900 GT and this bike has very similar acceleration up to about 55 which is perfect for getting away from traffic.
Very impressed with the brakes and suspension components and in general fit and finish was very good.
So much fun to just goof off and zip into here or there. Great for exploring.

The Zero app and its attempts to pair to the bike via bluetooth is bad bad bad. Lots of this documented on the forum. Will use once to set my custom mode, but what a wasted opportunity for Zero to integrate their app with the bike, like offering a security tracking service bundle. I bought the DFence GPS system for this, but that was a separate service entirely.

Overall, would purchase again, will check back in two weeks though  :o

General Discussion / Re: Welcome!

Greetings from Washington state USA!
I've been lurking and learning, and this forum seems like a goldmine of helpful information as I transition away from ICE bikes.
Current bike is a Yamaha Tracer GT and last bike was an BMW F800ST.
I'll be taking some test rides at the local shop that stocks some Zeros in the next few weeks, and I am currently strongly considering the FX with the goal of silent offroad/fire road trips and some general gnar gnar vs. my previous 99% street/commuting.
Thanks for all your hard work in making this forum a great resource!
