Pressing it long gives quite a different message than pressing it twice very shortly. If I were the addressee, I' certainly prefer the latter.The distance/time from the cyclists matters too. It's quite unnerving to be tooted from close by whilst cycling, so make sure you give them several seconds to adjust to your presence.
And just a single short toot will do - we're not all deaf. Eh?

Cas
- Energica is 20-80% in 40 minutes
- Zero is 1.4 hours (95% charged) with the rapid charger
Zero say the charging time is linear, so lets ratio that: 95%/80% = 1.18, so ...
- Zero is 1.4/1.18 = 1.19 hours (80% charged) = 71 minutes
The difference between sitting for a coffee and cupcake for 40 minutes compared to 71 minutes is huge.
Even if they gave away the rapid charger for free it's still a fail.
Re-arranging the pricing deckchairs won't fix that.

So for in-depth technical stuff and serious discussion, I definitley go to forums. Also, if you have a problem and google it, you kinda automatically end up in forum threads.. so I don't think it's dying
And for faster / simpler typing on mobile, try Swype or an equivalent gesture-based input method. It's called Glide typing on Android.

The biggest problem with group e-touring is charging - every electric bike need a station every 100-130ish miles. That's a serious disadvantage to a day-long group ride. Right now in the UK it would be a showstopper (even with a lot of decent chargers in a small country) even if there were say just 4 of you.
However, if all your mates are on ICE bikes the only battle is to convince them to stop at a charging station for coffee - that's doable.

The latest email to potential purchasers from DamienTM is entitled 'Manufacturing Plant Update' and, in part, reads:
With the production plant's progress, we're on track to begin deliveries next year. However, our 2023 volume is already sold out and the list continues to grow!
Don't wait even longer to get your bike - reserve now for 2024 delivery.
I find it hard to believe their 2023 volume is sold out - unless it's a teeny tiny volume. Have they defined their target volume for 2023?
Meanwhile, Energica pops out another usable model, and by 2024 they'll have another two years of manufacturing knowledge over DamienTM - shiny factory or not.
It feels like a weird brand-damaging way to sell. Belief can only be suspended for so long.

Looks rather bland to me, but the fairing is a welcome bit of aerodynamic design.
Two things come to mind:
1) I hope the lower power means a matching lower price range
2) I'd like to see more aerodynamic panniers rather than the usual slab-sided spam tins. Maybe take a leaf out of BMW's old rounded sports panniers which were expandable if needed:
