Title: username got scrambled?

Apparently (maybe some software upgrade?) scrambled my username, so it now appears as:
Ð‘ÑƒÐ»Ð³Ð°ÐºÐ¾Ð²

instead of :
????????

And I can't seem to login to the forum unless I use a password reset link. Can an admin contact me or just reset my username?

I can type it again here but it will probably not work. Here is a link to google translate, which shows the text correctly.

Try putting a space between each letter of your username.

I'm guessing a setting got changed so unicode or utf-8 no longer functions.

Post by: gregj on February 28, 2020, 01:42:43 PM: My original attempt to join the forum, never even got an activation email sent and refused to let me reregister ( it said I was "awaiting activation email" which never arrived.
I had to try and register using my old ( but still occasionally used) gmail address.
