Apologies is this is old news
Valcourt Bombardier (BRP) last February bought up the now-defunct California-based Alta all-electric motorcycle company.

Sad to say but BRP was only after Alta's IP.

They are investing in their future for pennies on the dollar.
BRP has so many segments that will benefit from the lightweight EV systems Alta pioneered.
Just look at BRP's brand page to see a road map for EV offerings in the next 5-10 years.

Same thing happened with Brammo when Polaris gobbled them up. Before that acquisition all Polaris EV offerings were lead acid based.
