Interesting. I like the idea of an intentionally small bike—though it really does resemble a scooter from the front.

When the point is agile transportation, it's an advantage, esp. where bikes are the majority of vehicles.

There are ~5x registered 2-wheeler s in India than cars. So not surprising anything to do with them is significant;
also, India is the largest market in the world, with ~3x the number of 2-wheelers as in China, despite China having slight more population.
So there's a lot of incentive there.
That said, in India, a midsize motorcycle is defined as 125-250cc, and these make up 20% of bikes; a large motorcycle is anything >250cc, and those make up only 5%. Everything else is <125cc.
