Here is another super battery design. This one is said to charge really fast. Now if only it could get into mass production and be sold to the market that prays for something like this to be produced and sold at a reasonable price:

Formula E aims to bring back pitstops with charging by 2021, because lot of the races now are more about managing battery charge. Maybe this kind of new battery technology will be brought in there first. That is the best testbed right now for this kind of tech.

That's cool. But charging time is not really an issue for me. Range, weight, price or torque are where I would love to see improvements for motorbikes.

Range and price for me. I don't give a crap about weight; I'm riding the bike, not carrying it. And torque?? 80 lbs/ft for a 400 lbs bike (my S) is MORE than enough "oomph" and beats the crap out of the 85 lbs/ft my 850 lbs K1200LT makes. And it still doesn't get me to the office any faster.

Quick charging makes range less of an issue, though. If the charge is five minutes, that's barely enough time to use the restroom.

Will getting it hot make it super? https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2019/10/new-charging-technique-could-power-electric-car-battery-10-minutes
