I hope they did fix whatever the problem was. We need to see if this machine will live or die based on its own merits, not production problems.

Would a "non-standard condition" be flames? ;)

If you read their " update " there was ONE bike that had a " possible " issue.
Local dealers have Chargepoint CCS Chargers on property and Livewire video kiosk inside. Asked what they thought at one dealership.
" We have sold four sight unseen. Still haven't seen one yet "

I did read the update. It seemed like a huge overreaction to shut down production, but then again this is a completely new market for them. Imagine, electric motorcycles!
So, that's the first sell-through data I've seen of any sort, though it's really just hearsay at this point. It's still VERY early in the process to make any judgments, but could that be a good sign? Four pre-sells at just one dealership doesn't sound half bad.

Here is the CCS ChargePoint Charger In Red Rock Harley Davidson Parking Lot

Here is the LiveWire Kiosk in same dealership. You can't see, but hundreds (?) of new Harleys on floor

After talking with them about Vapor Ware, I went for a nice 100+ mile ride.
