Title: Forum feedback 2019
Post by: Shadow on October 10, 2019, 10:19:11 AM
I'm reading a few posts here or there about the forum being broken.

As I write this I do see the "text entry extends too far to the right off the screen" issue.

Does it work normally for some? Any other feedback is welcome too.

It's way off the right of the window for me, in both Chrome and Firefox.

The text input box appears to be configured for 600 columns.
It's probably supposed to get resized dynamically but that is not happening.

<textarea class="editor" name="message" id="message" rows="12" cols="600" onselect="storeCaret(this);"
onclick="storeCaret(this);" onkeyup="storeCaret(this);" onchange="storeCaret(this);" tabindex="3"
style="height: 175px; "></textarea>

I doubt if anybody has the normal correct wordwrap. Forum is broken. And I use many different computers at many different locations and they all show the same problem here in this forum only.

It's been broken for several days.

BTW, are you back in the Reno area yet?

-Don-  Reno, NV (AC power is out in Auburn--So I came back here today. I need a system like yours there!)

In addition to the word-wrap issue, I have also lost the funny faces.  (insert crying funny face here)  And I can only insert one attachment per post, even if it is a small one. (insert puzzled funny face here)

Just +1
Very different look when posting and the emojis are gone.

Gotta love "upgrades". At least this one won't leave anybody stranded by the side of the road.
