Tacita has announced a new cruiser-style electric motorcycle, the T-Cruise Urban. Seems like a nice design and could be the only cruiser-style on the market, so it might be a good seller - if they can establish a decent distribution system and enough retail outlets to accommodate the market. But why a 5-speed transmission, especially on a motorcycle designed for "urban" usage? ???

Tacita is an interesting producer of electric motorcycles. They seem to get some articles and have a website I have wandered around. Their distribution network seems about like Cake, one address in the whole USA. I was more paying attention to the "enduro" offering. There do not seem to be a lot of details about what they have like how much spread of the ratios in the transmission or exactly what suspension components are used. How many bikes have they sold? Are parts easily ordered?

That’s a lot of battery for the price, especially the 18kWh version, but seems realistic. And it doesn’t look like they cut corners. Hopefully it finds a market against the Livewire.
But I agree that Tacita has been in press releases more than on streets as far as we’re aware as a community.

Can a tough seat actually be purchased? Has anyone ever seen one in real life? Is this another lightning?
