Title: DigiNow Back in Business!
Post by: oobflyer on September 25, 2019, 05:15:36 AM
Just got an email that DigiNow is shipping their v2.5 charger set-ups out again - woo hoo!!
I was lucky to get mine last year - I love the convenience of just pulling up to any J1772 station and plugging in to quick-charge. Glad to hear that their back - for two reasons:
1) They're an awesome product that you will love to have on your Zero and,
2) If I have any problems with mine I can reach out to them ;-)     [I've had no problems whatsoever - I've had my set-up for almost a year now]

It looks like they moved from the original website (diginow.it) to the indeigogo website - check it out:

Hi. To clarify, we're not back making these. I am fulfilling the orders people placed via IndieGoGo on my own, not as part of the company.

Hi Morgan,

So - after those orders are fulfilled - no more DigiNow?

If we do need support will you be available?

Thanks

That part of the business is actually closed. Like legitimately that LLC is gone. I will give as much support I can with parts I have to honor warranty claims if our stuff breaks. I say this next part with love: Please do not cut up and modify your chargers.

That being said I will examine things on a case by case basis. I recently had a lovely customer contact me rather embarrassed because he, in his words, "got drunk and tried to extend my J plug. But I sobered up and realized what I did before testing it" and asked if I would repair what he did. I was able to repair it and send it back. I certainly don't want to leave anyone high and dry if I can help it.
