Seems they are getting their act together. They now have a guy who has experience on Zeros and I made an appointment to have its firmware updated and the motor commissioning on my Zero DS 6.5.
Anyway, I rode my Energica SS9 there and let many of employees, both sales and mechanics took a look and I explained many of the neat features such as the CCS fast DC charging, the J1772 AC charging, the reverse, slow forward and more. They were all quite impressed, especally that it is an European bike and they want to have ALL European models there.
I think there is a very good chance that they also apply as being an Energica dealer. One employee there has heard of the bike, but has never seen it before. The rest did not even know that it existed.
I would not have known myself if it were not for my curiosity of what this section was all about.
I will ride it back to Auburn today (Thursday) in about ten hours or so from now.

DonTom your like a kid again with this new bike, I'm happy for ya.
I've tried to get some dealers closer to me to carry Zero but their are two in the state already and they just weren't interested.
Even my Harley dealer won't carry the Livewire, at least for a few years.
It's really shocking that so many motorcycle guys much less regular people don't know these things are even out there. Time for some ads boys, and they need a crew going to all these shows and events.
Or just pay us to do it. :)

Great work Don! Now you've got me motivated to go talk to my local Ducati/Triumph/KTM dealer to see if they would be interested applying to be an Energica dealer. Would be nice to have 2 electric motorcycle dealers in my immediate area (already have a Zero dealer in the area).

I am really doing it for my own convenience. I managed to get the nearest European motorcycle dealers to my own houses interested in becoming an Energica dealer, so if any issues come up, I won't have to take the bike 170 miles for service. Both of these places, the one in Elk Grove as well as here in Reno, deal with Zero, but never even heard of Energica (save for one employee here in Reno), yet both consider themselves European motorcycle dealers. So it wasn't that difficult to convince them they should be dealers after they saw the bike with me explaining a few things about it.

Perhaps they are waiting for the LiveWire to have a reasonable price tag so there is a chance they can sell a couple.
Is there ANY spec (even one) where the LiveWire beats the Energicas in any way?
BTW, both Harley dealers closest to my house will have the Livewire. I am the very first person to use the HD charger here in Reno. It can only charge at 15 KW max --but is free to use (at least for now).
The HD dealer in Rocklin has their charger installed but not connected up. Plugshare makes it look like it is on-line, so I put a note there that it isn't, and probably will not be connected until the end of September.
I find it rather ironic that my Energica will charge faster on the Harley charger than will the Livewire.
