Cell balancing - When does it occur on the Energica's?
During charging?
Above a specific SOC?
L1 charging - I almost use this method.
SOC - What's the general belief for longevity and overall health?
Is this best? - I call it the 80-20 pct rule. I normally keep the battery SOC between 80-20pct. I believe this method is best for overall battery health. When I do charge above 80 pct, as it finishes, I disconnect and ride immediately.
Battery voltage - 100, 80, 60, and 0 pct.
[1] What are the approximate voltages for each percent?
[2] Voltage - Where can I find it? On the app?

I’ll answer the few items I know about.
1) Cell balancing begins at 98% SOC and completes after the bike hits 100% SOC. It will do it on L1 and L2. I don’t think it does it when fast charging but I can’t say with certainty since I’ve never charged to 100% SOC when fast charging.
2) I’m not sure what’s the best methodology for SOC settings. I charge mine to 95% at home and at work so I have plenty of juice no matter which route I take to work and to allow for any type of traffic conditions. I almost always get to work and home with about 20%+ SOC riding my bike like my gas bike. If I wanted to make it to work and back on a single charge I would probably start the day at 100% SOC and ride quite a bit slower but since work has free L2 charging I usually ride the bike like I stole it. ;)
3) I have no idea what the SOC percentage equates to voltage-wise.

I almost always charge to 100% because I usually want all the range I can get. Perhaps not best for battery life but I am not going to worry about that too much until I store the bike and don't plan to ride for a while, then I will let the bike sit at less charge. But that has no happened yet!
Yes, it balances on fast DC charging at 95% if not even sooner. The screen gives a message "do not unplug--best to let balancing finish" or something like that when on fast DC charging.

Fully charged the Eva is about 320 volts. At very low SOC (below 10%) it is about 280 volts.
