I ordered a top case rack for my SR/F over a month (7/2) ago from AF1 Racing. I knew it was back ordered as the site said it would likely be up to two weeks before it shipped. I requested a status on the order twice and have received no response from them. Do they normally respond to information requests? Getting a little annoyed.

I ordered a part from them last month when a driver, not paying attention, hit me from behind at an intersection. Not hard; but hard enough to break the part of the undertail that holds the license plate. After I placed the order, I received an E-Mail saying the part would be shipped to me directly from Zero. Two weeks later, I received a package that was, indeed, shipped from Zero.
I suspect the problem is NOT on AF1's part... they just don't have an answer for you. You might try calling them on the phone to confirm.

Ordered from AF1, two extra set of wheels for my new FX for Dirt... Got both in one week drop shipped from Zero.

They were pretty responsive when I ordered my Energica side cases and they were missing the installation instructions. They got back to me next day. Sometimes emails get lost in the shuffle, as suggested before, try calling them directly.

They now have the instructions on the web. at AF1. (https://www.af1racing.com/store/ProdImages/st3/ENA003986_d7.pdf)
Didn't you get a 10% off discount card when you purchased the bike when you order from Mt. View? That saved me more than a hundred bucks, minus the $25.00 they charged me to reship the stuff to Auburn.

Ya know...I didn't even think about that...lol. Oh well...too late now. I'll keep that in mind if I decide to order another factory accessory.

The 10% off card is good for one year since your date of purchase. You may use it at either Livermore or Mountain View. It is good for parts and accessories and I assume that even means for your TTSE. There is no mention of the type of motorcycle you purchased on the 10% off card.
And the BMW shop prices (before any discounts) are within 5 cents of the AF1 prices on the accessories I purchased. So it's a true ten percent savings. But if you want them to ship the stuff to you, it will cost a bit more.
IIRC, Elk Grove Power Sports shipped to here for free.
But they have a lot of high expenses in the very heart of Silicon Valley, so they probably cannot do too much for free.
Sure is a lot of money in that area. When I went to SuperCharge my Tesla M3 at night, I was lucky to not have to wait. The place was full but with no Teslas waiting and somebody was just leaving when I got there. And my car was the cheap model 3 there (but mine is LR & AWD <dual motor>). Most of the others were Model S and X and Roadsters, etc. There was a sign there that said they are building three more Tesla Supercharger lots within a few miles of there. Two with 24 Superchargers and the other with 12 Superchargers. So they know they have way too many Teslas in that area for the number of Superchargers.
BTW, if you want to see some ridiculous 2020 Roadster specs, see here. (https://teslacarusa.com/2020-tesla-roadster-specs/)

Looks good. Reminds me of the top case rack I had on my Diavel. Definitely looked better without the case but the utility of the case for commuting far outweighed any concerns over looks.
