On the common mods thread, there is a section on swapping the front DS wheel from the 19" to the SR 17" wheel. Why is it also recommended to swap the rear tire (not whole wheel) as well? Since the speed/range is calculated by RPM, the different tire size would alter the readout. What are the drawbacks, if any, of leaving the rear tire stock while only swapping the front?

So I think I misread the post on the https://zeromanual.com/wiki/Advanced_Modifications#Front_Wheel_Swap (https://zeromanual.com/wiki/Advanced_Modifications#Front_Wheel_Swap). I will be keeping the same size rear tire.
Can a set of 2014 SR wheels be used to swap the whole set on a 2016 DS?

I don't think the 2014 had ABS so may not work.

That is correct. None of the Zero models in 2014 had ABS.

Nooooo, so I bought the wrong set?? Dang. Thought I got lucky when the dealer wanted $500 for a new 17" front wheel and I found a whole set for $170...

The rims (17") are about $300 each from af1 racing in Austin TX.
