Any one do their own oil change and other maintenance on their Energica..I have an EVA and wondering what the procedure is like...

Sorry, not me. I’m letting the dealer perform all scheduled maintenance while it’s under warranty.
I haven’t seen a factory service manual referenced anywhere online but I do plan on trying to get one as I get closer to the end of my warranty period.
I can’t imagine it’s too difficult a procedure though. There may just be some safety concerns around disconnecting the battery while working on the bike...just a guess.

Looking at the bike visually, it looks relatively easy. But I'd go with the previous poster and stick to dealer service for warranty period. Gives them a chance to check other things, update firmware, etc.

I'm going to CalMoto next week to have my Eva 107 get it's first service (a little overdue) and I'll post how it goes. I'm told the transfer case has less than a quart of ATF in it and the motor has about 2 quarts. It should be very easy to do yourself. I think they just want the first service at 600 miles to clean out any gear meshing that may occur.

I have never even seen a Energica before, so I am curious what the oil is for.

The motor is oil cooled and the VCU (computer) is liquid cooled (coolant). Asphalt and Rubber has an article with hi-res images of an Energica Ego with the body work removed. Since all Energicas share the same basic platform all their models will look very similar with body work off.
