"the most affordable premium electric motorcycle available today"
Not yet it aint, and I won't believe it till I see it. No updates whatsoever on their website makes me wonder.

See it Saturday! I actually rode it a few months ago, not production ready yet.
Am I going to see any of you guys on Saturday?
-
I have really wanted to see something new from Lightning, and they have seemed so elusive, but my recent crash is keeping me at home. Take a bunch of photos and ask pointed questions, please.
-
There will be a formal presentation at 1pm, indoors. They have air conditioning.
If you have any specific questions, post them here and I will ask them.

Looks like you may be the first and only human being so far to ever admit seeing a Strike ride or have ridden one. Three questions, why have you been silent until now? Can you please give us a ride report and details? Finally, any photos or video to show us this historic event?
I must admit this announcement concerns me. Previous short announcement said there would be public rides of the Strike. This announcement no longer says that.

I try to share all the important moto stuff I can with our community, but there are too many venues to get them all. Post 152 here https://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533363&page=11 is the Strike I rode around the block. It was not a proper test ride. You need a racetrack for that.
I really focus on OHV access issues because the dirtbike community is ill informed. SB249 would have destroyed our SVRA system. SB767, currently in the assembly, seriously threatens our State Parks. I still mean to hassle Kamila Harris about Clear Creek. It’s a time thing, man...

Come to think of it, I do not know to what extent the shop is air conditioned. The conference room is. The bathrooms are.
-
Well? How'd it go?
-
warm, but pretty awesome. Several Strikes were there. And other stuff, And yum food. and... https://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=535321&page=3
I cant possibly move the pics to here. There will be more coming up on BARF.
Big fun.

That's it?
A couple bikes behind a plastic chain?
This isn't a concept bike show they were supposed to be delivering bikes to customers in July.

It looks like Richard Hatfield did his favorite thing. Get up in front of an audience and talk. ::)
I keep seeing that CHP display everywhere I go. They were at an EV event last year and at the local high school's auto show last June. But I found that having an intelligent discussion with the CHP drone about motorcycle riding was a waste of time. :(

Boosted Boards came with demo rides; way fun. https://boostedboards.com Waaaay fun. I rode the short board, the long board and the scooter. Really nice fun solid functional products. I approve.

Our CHP guy, Tim, participated in our slow race. He was bumped out in early eliminations. Solid dude, ex AFM roadracer too.
-
I suspect people aren’t interested in the non-motorcycle parts of the open house.
-
That looks like a different CHP officer than the last one I spoke with in June. He was only interested in showing off the inside of his car.
