Title: First bug on my SR/F
Post by: gstrub on June 28, 2019, 06:35:19 AM
Well today I went out to the bike to move it. Turned the key and nothing. Headlight turned on, but brights, blinker, horn, all electronics nothing. I heard the usual sounds so I put the kickstand up and it rode, but nothing on the screen. I plugged it in and the blinking charge light came on, but no screen.  Then when I turned it off and on again I got the ABS light and all the electronics came back (blinkers etc) but still a blank display screen.

So right now the screen is totally blank but the bike rides. I’m not going to ride it. Waiting to hear back from Zero:(

Sorry to hear that.  I bet they will get you fixed up ASAP.

Does your phone app connect to it, and if so, what diagnostics does it report?

The phone connects. Let me see if I can figure out how to run diagnostics.

Sounds like the fastest service I have heard about on any Zero.

Here in Reno, I cannot even get a firmware update for my two Zeros.

Good to see Zero jumped on this and had spare parts on hand.  Last thing you want is to start getting major complaints about a new model.  Glad you are back on the road.
