Title: Honda Grom EV conversion
Post by: Richard230 on June 22, 2019, 07:53:31 PM
Here is a video of a really amazing electric-drive conversion of a Honda Grom. It looks like it could have come out of the Honda factory. It appears that the Grom conversion is using Alta EV power train components. A very impressive build, although I found the presenter and his pants a bit irritating:   ::)

Also, check out the motorcycle shop shown around minute 15.  In my 58 years of visiting motorcycle shops I have never seen any shop even close to this large.  What an inventory! They even have shopping carts for the big spenders.  :o

Rear sprocket is so large relative to tire size it might be the first thing to scrape leaning the bike over  :o

The presenter agreed with you and said that they planned to change the gear ratio to allow a smaller rear sprocket and/or install a larger rear tire.
