I recall seeing a link in a message in this forum, perhaps a month ago or so that showed what looked exactly like Zero Quick Chargers, but they were very high power. 240 VAC input only (of course) and the prices of each was close to $3,000.00.
I cannot now find the message for that link. Did anybody else here notice it? It probably is only available in Europe, but I now have many questions about such.
Anybody else notice it, or was I dreaming?

Though, they actually accept 120V as well just with a lower charge rate.
If you want any, there's probably a bunch of people getting rid of them for cheap who upgraded to onboard diginow superchargers. (I will be one of those people soon)

Hollywood Electrics used to offer the Elcon 2500 customization for Zero. I had a unit, and it does accept 110V AC just as well as 220V.
Chargers like this and the units DigiNow uses are current-regulated so the Elcon 2500 is drawing 12A at either voltage. DigiNow units each draw 15A.
There’s nothing wrong with this charger aside from its weight and bulk related to the power output. The units Elcon sells require setting them to the Zero voltage range, and Hollywood Electric made a cable harness that let you use them in parallel with the onboard charger for 3.8kW total from a J1772 station or 6.3kW with a pair of Elcon 2500 units and the onboard.
That said, that bulk and weight are significant, and I’d rather see people deal with the newer lighter chargers just to minimize handling and frame fatigue problems on the Zero.

Brian, could those Elcons cell balance as well or was it just the Zero Quick chargers that could?

Balancing is performed by the BMS, not the charger. As long as you have a slow charge taper, the BMS will balance. The Elcon 2500 when configured correctly to top off a Zero battery will do this.
Remember, I’m not customer support for this, though.

I think I now know what I was looking at. Stuff that looks like a Zero Q-charger (https://www.evwest.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=12&products_id=254), but isn't. Besides, way too heavy to carry on a bike.

But it says for the 2020 SR/F, which I hear does not even have the Anderson connector to use it.
I cannot make any sense out of this.

A German Zero Dealer (https://translate.google.de/translate?sl=de&tl=en&u=www.otten.de) who also is engaged into various regenerative and conventional energy is customizing TC Chargers. Each unit has 3.3kW and can be ordered with or w/o CAN-Bus Control. The local price incl tax is 900EUR. Unfortunately, the web page does not have a web shop, so go ahead and send them an email.
They also customize two of these units (plus accessories) into an AC charging with a Type-2 plug - so similar to the Zero charge tank, just cheaper and using 3 phase charging instead of 1 phase. 2 phases are realized from each 3.3kW Units and one phase is supplied by the still remaining internal 1.3kW charger, so 7.9kW in total. Not sure about the US, here in Europe there‘s tons of Type-2 chargers around offering 11 or 22kW (less common is 43kW).

And here is the 6KW external Zero charger, (https://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=97891&sku=ZM10-08229&description=Zero+MC%27s+6kW+Rapid+Charger+-+ZM10-08229&idCategory=3108&action=View) made for the SR/F which has no place to connect it . . . Makes no sense . . .Could this be a mistake of some type?
And what does "Image for illustrative purposes only" mean?

That is the 6kW onboard rapid charge module for the SR/F. The picture is obviously wrong, but the part number matches the one dealers got in their SR/F accessories binder.

Thanks, I kinda assumed that could be the case.
But I sure wish they made a 240 VAC 6KW charger in the same size package as my one KW chargers-- to use on the road.

I know it's a little over the saddlebag weight limit, but will the Elcon PFC 2500 Chargers fit in those saddebags? What is the best way to carry TWO of them?

Yes, they do fit just fine, one in each Zero / Givi side case (I figured I will answer my own question since nobody else did, in case anybody else needs to know).

On a recent trip (from the Bay Area, CA, US, to Reno NV, US) I was able to charge -- using two J1772 plugs -- at 1C. One thing I learned: while most Chargepoint stations would let me use two plugs (I used my card for one, and my cell phone for the other), a couple would only let me use one plug, no matter what I tried.
Also, after a bit of experimenting, you can put both the elcons *and* the wiring harnesses in the side cases.

I purchased a couple of new Elcon PFC 2500's direct from Elcon in Sacramento a couple of weeks ago. For $700.00 each. All programed for a Zero, but not the correct cables. So I made my own adapters. I wired up two 50 amp Anderson connectors each with a with 25 amp blade fuse direct to the motor controller battery terminals. At home, I can charge at 8KW (using two Zero quick chargers as well), but only 6.3 KW while on the road. I have plenty of storage space as I also have a tank bag, travel trunk and I often carry a backpack as well, so the cables are no issue and don't take up much room anyway.
I have the Pwr Tank, so no charge tank.
BTW, I am from the SF Bay Area and I used to work (34 years) for the CC of SF. Now retired for five years. And I was born in SF.
Next time you're headed for Auburn, CA or Reno, NV or even Sacramento, let me know if you would like to meet up. But I have been trying to avoid the SF Bay area as much as possible in the last few years.
