Where: Stuttgart, Germany. We will meet at the Fernsehturm (first TV tower in the world).

I created a little website for people without Facebook:

The website will be updated with additional information (soon).
And the Facebook event is updated with news as soon as we get them, too.
And I will try to answer any questions you might have :-)

Hello Christian,
I'm planning to join from Elsass, and also another guy from Paris. Still have to clear some issues like WAF, b without b, and charging points en route.
AFAIK it is not permitted in Germany to do group rides of more than 3 motorbikes. A "good" reason for so many riders to cross the border and make noise and smoke in the Vosges mountains in France!
So it means that you may have to request a special authorization from the local police? With the route&timing, and, who knows, the personal details of each rider? Or am I wrong?

I'll be there! I'm visiting my mother in Philadelphia and then I'll be riding in Europe for a week. It'll be fun! I booked a Zero DSR from gert-jan and guy at electricmotorbikes.nl

Christian, can you edit the subject like so it includes the July 7 date?
-
Fine! It's in only 2 weeks now, almost tomorrow. I'm the happy owner of a brand new stock charger mounted in the 2014 Zero S, therefore I will not worry about a sudden breakdown of it. Combined with the external quick charger made with Eltek modules, it should be quite easy to ride the about 250km from my home across the Black Forest to Stuttgart.

Hubert if you are referring to people riding to the event, good to know, people should split up into groups of there or less. Good idea from a charging point of view as well, some locations do not have so many charging stations : - )
If you are speaking of the event itself, Christian has contacted the authorities. 😀

Moderation action: Changed topic to include date.
