Title: Lost my Keys to a DSR 2014

Has anyone lost there keys to their motorcycle - if so - what did you do ?

Always keep spare keys in a storage spot.
As it is you could try and see if Zero has a key pattern record for your VIN.  Worth a try though rather unlikely.
Most likely you'll need to have your dealer replace yours with a new lock and key setup or a locksmith may be able to reverse engineer a new key to the tumbler pins.

Good news is I bet you won't do it again.  :)

Better than keyless fob, especially if you could hide it somewhere. :)

Lighten up, we are just having fun while waiting for someone who knows. But I think you'll need to order a new lock cylinder with matching key. Which is a bummer if you have multiple lock cylinders on the motorcycle that use the same key.

Thanks man - I was bummed at myself - the weather is perfect - it cost 175 bucks for a locksmith to come by - referred by Zero - I’m back on the road

That's good to hear a regular locksmith could do it and you're back on the road. Were they able to create a new key, or did they have to replace the lock cylinder?

AFAIK, they can always make a key for your ignition lock. There are many locksmiths that specialize in lost cycle keys, such as shown here. (http://www.desertlock.com/lost-motorcycle-keys-call-us/)

As mentioned above, a good locksmith can do it for you.
I believe that the key is the same as a Buell and if I recall,
there was a riding lawn mower key ( or something similar ) that
would work. If you don't want a "generic" key, since there aren't
any electronics in the key, the Factory blanks are fairly reasonable.
If your dealer doesn't have them in stock, Harlan at Hollywood Electrics
should have some.
TMC X270 are letters and numbers on one of the generic blanks
for my 2013 FX
