Title: Listing my last ICE bike this weekend
Post by: Apriliarsv on February 22, 2019, 10:49:54 PM
Putting my last ICE bike up for sale this weekend.
Then the search begins.

One option is looking for a used Zero. Is there a way to
look up the serevice/repair history of the bike other than
asking a dealer to look it up?

Big step man.  I love these bikes and I won't ever own an ICE at this point but I have plenty of other ways to get around if something goes wrong.
I wish I could say they are perfect and bomb proof but we all know it's still a newer system with bugs and weak points.
But with electric systems I don't think it matters as much for repair history since it's almost always a, replace with a new component, situation.

I don't want to throw a wet blanket on your excitement of buying an electric motorcycle I just like to remind folks about what their getting into to cut back on buyers remorse.
Good luck.

I've kept my V-Strom 650 as a reliable backup in case my Zero needs work, and recommend the same for anyone if they find using a car regularly to be a problem.

You don't want any glitch on a Zero to result in riding downtime, especially if your dealer is far away.

Sold my RSV and Dorsoduro nov and dec 18. Last ICE bike left is a yamaha. It does nothing for me. I love riding my Giant TCX and TCR. Those will be my backup rides.

Full speed ahead then! Sadly my Litespeed Archon has not had my butt on it since I got into Zeros but it was a great way to get around too.

Wow new2elec I love Ti bikes. A dealer loaned me a Seven for a day.
Really nice.
Nice bicycles and motorcycles seem to get in the way of each other.
