I just heard on the news that the UK Parliament today voted down, by a large margin, the Brexit/EU agreement negotiated by PM May. This means that the UK will drop out of the EU at the end of March without there being any agreement regarding economic, travel, or political arrangements, between countries in Europe and the UK. This really has the potential to affect everyone in the UK in a bad way if a solution can't be found somehow. It might even start a worldwide recession. :(
I am not sure how this might impact the EV community, but if it does, it can't be anything good. ???

Well, things like this really interest me and I am wondering what other people think of this issue. ??? I spend a lot of time reading my newspaper every day in an effort to get pass the local TV news and learn what is going on in the mysterious world outside of the SF Bay Area. ;)
Come to think of it, I suppose that anyone who lived in the UK and wanted to buy one of those lady bug electric scooters that are built in the UK might find Brexit to be a problem. :o

Keep it up Richard.... You make me think once in a while.... First of all, I don't blame England for pulling the plug.... They should never have joined in the first place.... Not when you have to bail out countries like Greece that can't get it together....

I watched the BBC World News program on Public TV last night. The first 20 minutes was about the Brexit vote. What I gathered from the program was that PM May will survive the "no confidence" vote today (likely because no one else wants the job right now), there is something called a "soft Brexit", the deadline for exiting might be extended, or there might be a new Brexit vote. Whether or not any of those things can happen by March 29 seems to be questionable. :-\
The other thing I learned is that at least the UK Parliament gets to vote on unpopular proposals, unlike here in the U.S. where none of our legislators want to vote on something controversial, as that might be held against them when they come up for reelection. In the meantime, I assume that the dictators of the world, in Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, etc. are really enjoying our democracies shooting themselves in the foot trying to make decisions and run our countries. :'(
