Great idea getting to the next generation.
The quiet will make all the difference and the best selling point along with no gas and exhaust sparks to catch the woods and fields on fire.
When I was a kid the go cart gas can wasn't filled as regularly as the mower gas can which was suspicious. :-\
Being able to just plug in and go I would have lived in those woods.

5kW motor, .9kW battery, 2 hour ride time, huuuuummm.....
I suppose if you ride at 10% power.
