Yeah buddy go electric! Throttle can seem more responsive after a firmware flash if you are using custom mode because those values are reset in the process. If the Eco/Sport presets were changed that is worth discussion to document what happened. Suggest you look at getting a CrampBuster plastic widget for that throttle grip a few dollars to make regular commute easier / less stress on the hand. Heated grips are an easy and helpful addition for dark rides. Above all remember to follow exactly the owner's manual about initial maintenance for the motor controller commissioning; the miles will add up quickly.
