This is great news Richard!
But from the article it still seems they have some challenges in the charging speed, to be a good choice for motorbikes in general.
While the energy density is doubled, the charging speed they claim is 2-5 hours to fully charged, which really is 1/4 or less compared to liquid Li-Po technology with active cooling. However the higher energy density may compensate for half of that, but it seems further development will be needed to make a major breakthrough for electric motorcycling. But i guess the last word is not said about this :) I'm looking forward to see and hear how efficient this process is.

Just observing from the OP's link that US government funding was key to this progress. We've lost our way here a bit and I hope stories like this will get us back on track.
