Title: 12v Outlet / connection point for Navigation

Hi Everyone.

I am waiting for my Eva and was wondering if someone knows if ther is a 12v connector / point somewhere where it is possible to connect a navigation system (I have a Garmin).
I know there is a USB plug on the bike for phones but I need 12 v for the navigation system.

I'm waiting for my EVA to finally reach my garage too, so I can't check right now :D

But a std USB cable should be available for your garmin. Every electronic device today are compatible w/ direct 5V current coming from any USB port.

This should handle the navigation system without any mods (in case 12V is not available on EVA)

The Eva has a dual USB port. You can connect into the power cables for that plug to run your GPS, that is what I did.

The usb outlet is now a standard part on EVA but it use to be a optional extra.

It uses a 12v connection located behind the left side of your dash. Search google for "Dannemann 2 Pin" to find a compatible connector.
If your bike dose have the USB you can build a break out cable.

Please note you might need to install a fuse to make this port live. Fuse block is located under the right side tank cover, if fuse 6 is not present just install a 5A mini ATO fuse.

The connector is switched so when the bike is off it is not live.

Thanks for the suggestion  :) My Garmin 590LM has a cradle/mount where it is inserted and water resistant with gold pins. It also has a USB port/connection hidden under a rubber cap but mainly for updating (it can be charges through that port but is not designed for that and the port would be be damaged when it rains so that's not an option for me.

I know the Dannemann 2 Pin connector type. I have some of them at home :-) Thank you very much!!! And welcome to the forum  ;) (I am pretty new here myself)
