Title: Intermittent Dimming Lights
Post by: Shoe2013 on July 18, 2018, 05:00:23 PM
I have a 2014 Zero S. I have had no trouble with it until recently. The headlight and "Dash Overview" intermittently dim while I'm riding. It happens when the battery is fully charged or partially charged. Both will go dim, then come back up to full intensity. They will dim for a several seconds, or several minutes. There is no noticeable decrease in performance. I only notice it when it is dark, and I ride to work at midnight. I'm not sure if this happens in daylight, because it is hard to notice in the light.

Does it happen after you hit a bump or it rains?

No. It is totally random.

It does.

Sounds like a poor connection that will have to be chased down.
I’m thinking removal of the seat, tank, & perhaps headlight cowling (not familiar with a 2014).
Have to find every connection & gently tug, push, twist, etc. to try and replicate the issue.
Might try replacing fuses first as relatively easy.
Would help if you had a Schematic (wire diagram) to let you know what your looking for.
