Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had the wiring diagram for the FX 5.7 2013 Zero Motorcycle? I ask because I am trying to make a connector for a lighter and more efficient battery but I don't know what each pin does. I saw a post for a 2014 wiring diagram but I am not sure if those are the same pins. Thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry I can't help you with your diagram but I would say do be careful as the battery connector for the 13 model is on the opposite side from all the later models. I don't know if that included a pin change or not but could be a red flag.

There is some kind of pin change between 2013 and later years. I think it has to do with the Power Tank, the charging circuit capacity upgrade, and possibly the shift to a CAN-capable charger.

I think if you use Burton's 2013 wiring diagram at the battery end, coupled with the more modern FX diagram, you'll make reasonable progress.

where might I find the 2013 diagram, I found the 2014 one but the wiring diagram doesn't line up with the connector I have on the 2013 model. There are at least 3 different pins. I have made some progress with the 2014 diagram and a multimeter but if there is a 2013 diagram it would be nice to have.
thanks,

By "the 2013 diagram", I mean Burton's trace of a 2013 S bike. It'll be largely different from the FX but probably documents the battery connection roughly.

Oh alright, I will take a look. Thanks!
