Title: Who's installed Domino throttles?
Post by: nedfunnell on June 30, 2018, 08:03:17 AM
I know some folks have installed Domino throttles for the reduced twist angle (78° instead of 90°) and seemingly better build quality. My Domino just flaked out after three years. How are everyone else's Domino throttles holding up?

Which Domino throttle do you have?

This style?

We use those on all Energica bikes and I do not know of any issues.

At my previous company we had Scooters that ran a different Domino throttle (with the kill switch and start switch combined). We had issues with the terminals shearing off the pots due to people tugging on the wires and there not being great cable strain relief.

You might want to take the bad unit apart we were able to replace the bad pots in the units, $5 pot vs $100 throttle.
