A few years ago there was a thread about a fellow who was attempting to ride from the U.S. to the tip of South America on a red 2012 ZF9 Zero in 2015. I recall hearing about the start of is trip, but never read the entire story. Naturally, I couldn't find the thread, but here is a link to a magazine article about the trip. Unfortunately, the text just covers the start of his ride, but the story does include some photos of some of the people he met along the way. However the entire trip and how it finally ended is still a complete mystery to me. The Facebook link provided in the article didn't seem to be much help in answering that question: ???

Does anyone have any more information about how that rather adventurous trip turned out?

Looks like they completed it at 27882 km.
I imagine there'll be a movie about it, and they are doing electric boating on the Ganges now. Building Electric Powered Odyssey as a brand for multiple adventures, it seems.

If he and the Zero completed that trip, I am very impressed with both the rider and the Zero. So is Zero going to buy his bike back and pick it up wherever it is now. ;) I sure hope they make a movie or write a book about his trip some day. That would be an interesting read.

I wonder if they moved its drivetrain to that solar boat
