Title: European tour and DigiNow SuperCharger Testing Videos.
Post by: Electric Cowboy on June 30, 2017, 06:09:59 PM
Oh man, Europe makes California feel like a third world country when it comes to charging infrastructure! I can not make it clear enough how amazing it is to be able to just get on your bike and go anywhere without planning and just stop to charge when you feel like it would be a good time for a charge. I really look forward to traveling in Europe a lot more.

Initial tests in germany and netherlands

I dig the solar panel awnings! Glad at least there you can dry out at a charging station.

I'm inferring that 3 SCv2's are pulling power in parallel on 3 phase AC across each phase.

And of course, I'm jealous of hanging out with Elektrogirl and other rad folks there. I really need to get on the road with my bike.

Cool! Also, your bike looks awesome. Can we get some more details on those brackets when you have a chance?

Thanks. I've meant to do a walk around for some time now but I was barely home past weeks and when I was the weather/wind was not suitable.

thanks for posting these!

what RFID cards should one get before traveling to Europe?

it sounds like some countries do better at charging infrastructure than others (Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany vs Italy, Spain, Greece).

A ''The New Motion'' card will cover most. Can't vouch for other countries but here in NL it is mandated that you only need one card to access all networks.

POLAR is a good choice for the UK.
